Can I keep my same phone number?
In most cases the answer is yes. However, it's important not to cancel your current phone service before it is switched over to Buzz Broadband due to the possibility of losing your current phone number. When Buzz takes over your phone service, the previous provider will be notified of the switch and should cancel your service with them. We recommend confirming this with your previous provider.
What information does Buzz Broadband need from me so I can keep my current phone number?
The name in which the account is listed, the account number and pin number if you have one. It's very helpful when customers provide Buzz with a copy of their old phone bill.
If I keep my old number, what does it cost and how long does it take?
There is no charge to transfer your current phone number. It does take longer to complete the process—up to 30 days depending upon your current carrier.
